First a little background. Btw this is really long but it's important so please read it. I tried to boil it down as much as I could. Any questions just ask.
William Burroughs thee really famous writer that probably none of you have heard of invented and used the cut up technique. According to Genesis P-Orridge whom you all know I listen to all the time, and is a found of TOPY this is the most important technique for taking back control of yourself for yourself.
It can be used to cut up text or sounds with recording to reveal the actual energies present as opposed to what written or said. This is called the third mind. It has very much to do with nonlinear time and time distortion. If do it half right you will still experience nonlinear time. Doing it well just means you learn more.
What is important is that it's a system. The more system like the better. It's amazing what can be learned from doing things like this and imo it's because you are using elements you love in a fun way. Plus it's magic! ;) I always relate it back the gambling tests. They have taken the really good gamblers and found that as long as they keep that good feeling(high) they keep winning. That's their secret. Magic doesn't have to use oppresive god names or formula exactly. ;) It's really just a system of building up meaning and synchronosity. It only works if it feels good though.
Well here is the ritual. Everyone records 3-5 minutes of audio previously. At the end of each day for a week record a little less then minutes recap of your joy for the day. It could be anything. Then record a piece of a favorite song, movie, or anything else like that you can think of. This will be on a specified day/hour if we can manage it. Record about 2 minutes worth.
We will open a circle and then play our recordings. First everyone short journal piece and then the sample piece. If we see any "threads" or anything else repeat itself through out we can chant it's name or call it up. Whatever feels right. Yeah! I wrote another ritual!
